Carousel
Master Artist: Paul Cézanne
Current Artist: Martha Mayer Erlebacher
This Project is a Memory of me and my dad when I was around 5 years old, the reason why the background is blurry is because its supposed to show how I cant remember every detail of the memory.
Materials: Pencil, Watercolor Paints
Jellies
Master Artist: Claude Monet
Current Artist: Cecily Brown
Similar to Monet I wanted to capture a dream like essence in the piece, to show how its a past memory. I did not get to finishing this piece but when I continue it I want to use lots more colors how Cecily Brown did, making it a tiny bit more abstract.
Materials: Water Color and White Acrylic
Master Artist: Claude Monet
Current Artist: Cecily Brown
For these drawings I really wanted to make them bigger and use acrylic paints to capture a more dream like feel similar to the jellyfish painting. This would be a memory of a Koi fish in a koi pond!
Materials used: Pencil
Master Artist: Franz Marc
Current Artist: Liu Yi
This is the jellyfish drawing that sparked my ideas of the jellyfish painting, at first I wanted to paint a big jellyfish by itself but then I remember how when I went to the aquarium there was always a bunch of jellyfish which made me wanna paint a group of them instead of one.
Materials: Pencil
Pomegranate
Master Artist: Frida Kahlo
Current Artist: Banksy
These Artists Influenced this painting because of how colorful Frida Kahlo's paintings are and because Banksy Makes artwork that seems so simple yet makes a great statement. This connects to my inquiry because it is an old memory of mine from many
christmases ago that shows my love for pomegranates.
Materials: Pencil, Acrylic plaints
First Time Skiing
Master Artist: Franz Marc
Current Artist: Liu Yi
I never finished this but I wanted to make it more abstract and kind of an unclear image because like a memory I wanted it to be blurry or hard to understand. I wanted These to Artists to be inspiration for it because of the way they portray images in their art is super cool.
Materials: Pencil, Markers, Whiteout pen
